Mr Trump is not President.

Not yet, another ten days, which is plenty of time for
another CIA hit attempt.

He was President and therefore has the title for life. As President elect no judge can keep him from any punishment that would thwart his duties as President. And that means that all he has to do is take this lawfare before the Supreme Court to 1. Stop it all. 2. Probably remove the legal licenses of the judges that allowed that misuse of the law to occur in their courts.

Mr Trump is not President.
He was President and therefore has the title for life.
He is an ex-president, and he is a president-elect. He is not President,
even though there's a weird custom of using that title for former
presidents. The honorific title conveys no legal power.

Or more briefly, an ex-president is NOT a king, no matter what his
worshipers may think.

It's not a 'weird custom'. The same applies to retired
Senators, Congressmen, judges, doctors and military officers.

I would however call the 'Kentucky colonel' custom weird.

I would.
The title is customarily extended to emeritus (retired)
academics. That is not at all unusual.

1. You wrote "Trump is President again". He is not. Yet.

2. Presidential immunity may or may not apply, and I would
bet it does not apply in this case. Then again no actual
crime was charged and yet the jury found him guilty. Review
the indictment and tell me what he did or didn't do. It's
not at all clear.

3. The Supremes already voted Yellow and declined to take up
the appeal.

5. Judges are not licensed as such. They may be impeached
but that is not going to happen in New York to Mr Merchan.

He is, by the way, not an actual judge.

He seems to have adequate education, legal and judicial
experience (personal conflicts/bias are much discussed) but
I could not find why he is an 'acting' judge without full
appointment.

will acede to your comments except as to New York. It is shocking what the power of the purse strings does to "morals" of localities.
